How much money do I need in bank account to get a residence permit?

o        In documents requested by the administration in short-term residence permits, it is taken into consideration that the person has a minimum amount of money to sustain his/her livelihood during the requested residence.

How many days can I apply for a residence permit when my visa expires?
You must apply for a residence permit before your visa expires. If the application is made up to 10 days after the end of your visa period, the administration may accept your application by paying a visa violation penalty. How long is a short-term residence permit issued?
A short-term residence permit can be issued for a maximum of two years. As of February 2022, the administration does not consider it appropriate to grant residence permits for 1 year to other foreigners, except for those who own real estate in Turkey.

Who can be granted a family residence permit?
Turkish citizens or foreigners who have one of the residence permits, refugees and subsidiary protection status holders;

o        To the spouse of the foreigner (If he/she has more than one spouse, only one of the spouses can be issued a family residence permit. However, all children of the foreigner can be granted a family residence permit).

o        To the minor or dependent foreign child of himself/herself or his/her spouse (for the family residence permit requests of the children, the consent of the mother or father who has joint custody, if any, must be obtained outside our country). Family residence permit provides the right to education up to the age of eighteen in primary and secondary education institutions without a student residence permit.

Who can get a student residence permit?
Foreigners who have come to Turkey with a student visa and will receive primary and secondary education, or
It is given to foreigners who will receive education in a higher education institution in our country at the levels of associate degree, undergraduate, graduate, doctorate, specialty education in medicine (TUS), and specialty education in dentistry (DUS).

Should foreigners with a work permit obtain a residence permit?

Müstakil Sanayici ve İşadamları Derneği (MÜSİAD) Tahran Temsilcisi Fatih Çayabatmaz, İran Meclisi’nde dün onaylanan yasa tasarısının, Türkiye’nin İran’a ihracatının önemli oranda zarar görmesine neden olacağını söyledi.

Çayabatmaz, “İran Meclisinin iç piyasanın ihtiyacını karşılayacak kadar ülkede üretimi olan benzer malların ithalatının yasaklanma kararı, Türkiye ile İran arasındaki ticari ilişkilere zarar verecek niteliktedir” dedi.

Bir süre önce ülkede üretimi yapılan ürünlere benzer yabancı ürünlerin; televizyon, radyo, gazete ve bilboard gibi her türlü yazılı, görsel ve basılı alanda reklamının yasaklandığını hatırlatan Çayabatmaz, “İran Meclisinin bu kararıyla ithalatın önü tamamen kesilmeye çalışılıyor” diye konuştu.

Türkiye’nin İran’a ihracatının daha çok tüketim malları üzerinden olduğunu ifade eden Çayabatmaz, “Tekstil, beyaz eşya, gıda, sağlık malzemeleri ve kozmetik ürünleri İran’a en çok sattığımız ürünlerdir. Bu ürünlerin benzerleri İran’da üretiliyor. İran Meclisinin aldığı kararla bu ülkeye ihracatımız neredeyse durma noktasına gelebilir” açıklamasını yaptı.

Türkiye ile İran arasında 2015’te yürürlüğe giren Tercihli Ticaret Anlaşması’nın bu karardan etkilenmemesi gerektiğini belirten Çayabatmaz, 10 yıllık müzakereler sonucu iki ülkenin söz konusu anlaşma ile 200 civarında malda gümrük vergisi indirimine gittiğini hatırlattı.

İran’ın daha önce 1339 malın ithalatını yasakladığını, bunlardan 61’inin Tercihli Ticaret Anlaşması kapsamındaki ürünler olduğunu anlatan Fatih Çayabatmaz, “Bu konuda müspet bir adım beklerken, İran Meclisinin aldığı son kararla bu ülkeye yapacağımız ihracatın daha da düşmesiyle karşı karşıya kaldık. Tercihli Ticaret Anlaşması yapmış ülkeler bir an önce kapsam dışı bırakılmalıdır” ifadelerini kullandı.

MÜSİAD Temsilcisi Çayabatmaz, 24 Mart’ta Resmi Gazete’de yayımlanarak yürürlüğe giren Türkiye- İran Sosyal Güvenlik Anlaşması’nın faydalarını AA muhabirine değerlendirdi.

Anlaşmanın iş dünyası için önemli fırsatlar sunduğunu belirten Çayabatmaz, “Türkiye- İran Sosyal Güvenlik Anlaşması’nın yürürlüğe girmesi, İranlı iş adamlarının Türkiye‘ye olan ilgilerini artıracaktır.” dedi.

Türkiye‘de şirket kuran yabancılar listesinde İranlıların ilk sırada bulunduğuna dikkati çeken Çayabatmaz, “Şubat ayında, 75 şirket kuran İranlılar birinci sırada yer aldı. Söz konusu anlaşma, iki ülke arasındaki ilişkilerin güçlenmesine ve iki ülke halkının birbirine daha da yakınlaşmasına vesile olacaktır.” diye konuştu.

“İranlı iş adamlarının Türkiye‘de yatırım yapma imkanını artıracak”

Çayabatmaz, anlaşmanın sunduğu imkanlara ilişkin şu bilgileri verdi:

” Türkiye‘de şirket kuran İranlı bir iş adamı çalıştırdığı İranlı personel için kendi ülkesinde sigorta ödediğine dair evrakı ibraz etmesi durumunda ayrıca Türkiye‘de sigorta ödemesine gerek kalmayacak. İranlı işçinin Türkiye‘de çalıştığı süre İran‘da geçerli sayılacak. Bu da maliyetleri azaltacak ve İranlı iş adamlarının Türkiye‘de yatırım yapma imkanını artıracak. Aynı şey, İran‘da faaliyet gösteren Türk iş adamları ve çalıştırdığı personel için de geçerlidir.”

Anlaşmanın sağlık sigortası kapsamındaki faydalarına da değinen Çayabatmaz, ” Türkiye‘de iş yeri açan İranlı iş adamı veya yanında çalışan işçinin sigorta priminin İran‘da yatması durumunda ülkesinde faydalanabileceği sağlık hizmetlerinden Türkiye‘de ücretsiz faydalanabilecek. Türkiye sigorta kurumu yaptığı harcamayı, İran‘daki ilgili sigorta şirketinden tahsil edecek. Aynı durum, İran‘da çalışan Türkler için de geçerli olacak.” dedi.

Türkiye ile İran arasında 16 Nisan 2016’da imzalanan Sosyal Güvenlik Anlaşması geçen hafta Mecliste onaylandıktan sonra 24 Mart’ta Resmi Gazete’de yayımlanarak yürürlüğe girmişti.

Söz konusu anlaşma, bireylerin emeklilik süreçlerinde primlerinin muadil ülkede sayılmasını ve sigortalıların muadil ülkede bulundukları süre içinde sağlık hizmetlerinden sosyal sigortalar kapsamında yararlanabilmesini kapsıyor.

İran’ın da eklenmesiyle Türkiye ile sosyal güvenlik sözleşmesi yürürlükte bulunan ülke sayısı 34’e çıktı.
